Hiring:  Pavement Marking Technician Specialists in Multiple Divisions

Position Summary

  • Operate long-line pavement marking trucks and other equipment
  • Layout and stripe two-lane and multi-lane highways
  • Apply paint, epoxy, thermoplastic, and tape markings
  • Follow PennDOT and other project specifications 
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections, maintain required documentation, and collaborate with inspectors, customers, and crew members.

Qualifications

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Valid Class B CDL 
  • Ability to read pavement marking plans
  • Knowledge of roadway safety and work zone practices
  • Ability to use measuring tools
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

Work Schedule

  • Peak season:  April – November (weather dependent)
  • Day, night, and rotating weekend work
  • Outdoor, physically active position
