About Us
Beginning in 1986 D.E. Gemmill, Inc. established ourselves as a quality, efficient, professional and competitive company that strives to provide the most advanced products and services throughout the industry.
Our journey began with pavement markings and grew into providing maintenance and protection for asphalt surfaces. From there, we moved into commercial, industrial and traffic signs to give you information and direction. Clients then began asking for safety products so we offered traffic control sales and rentals along with work zone and emergency service products. And when protection for your employees became a concern, we decided to supply safety clothing and apparel. From there, we started sweeping up debris, doing dust control and cleanup on construction sites, and we were there again. At last you asked for decorative pedestrian crossing and one-of-a-kind items to complete your project and we responded.

David E. Gemmill started the company in 1986 as a Traffic Line Painting company. Today, the company offers more than a dozen products and services in the industry…he continues to look for new and innovative products and services to meet the needs of his customers.
He handles all facets of the company and is always on the go, so if you don’t catch him in the office, he is busy ensuring the success and satisfaction of the customers and staff.

Colleen is our accounting over site manager, but is also the “go to” person for our safety and emergency division. If you need a vest, hard hat or emergency devices, just give her a call.
